Since last August, we've been changing who can reply to that Tweet when posting a Tweet on Twitter. But this was only true at the time of Tweet creation. Starting today, users will be able to choose who can respond after sharing.
Social media giant Twitter released a feature that made its users very happy in August of last year. With the feature it added, the platform allowed its users to set who can reply to this Tweet as soon as they create a Tweet. Users could have anyone reply to their Tweets, only people they follow, or only people they mention in the Tweet.
But until now, the feature had only one limitation: We could only set who could reply to the Tweet while composing the Tweet. It was not possible to make such a setting when the tweet was shared. Here, the sharing made from Twitter's official Support account showed that this restriction, which we have been waiting for a long time to be lifted, has been terminated.
Adjustments can now be made even after tweeting:
“You can now change who can reply after tweeting,” the tweet shared from the Twitter official Support account. statement was included. The ability to select people to respond to after tweeting on Twitter has been made available all over the world. To use the feature, simply follow the steps below:
Press the three-dot icon in the upper right corner of the Tweet you shared.
In the menu that opens, click on the "Change who can reply" option.
The pop-up “Who can reply?” window, choose the one that suits you from “Everyone”, “People you follow” or “Only people you mention”.
Your Tweet will now be replyable to people in the group you selected.
